ARISTIDES PASADAIOS 


A
ristides Pasadaios was born in Istanbul. A graduate of the School of Architecture, Istanbul, he obtained a Doctor's Degree in Architecture at the Metsovion School of Polytechnics, Athens. In addition to his work as an architect, he devoted time to archaeological research and taught Christian architecture in the Greek Orthodox School of Theology at Halki. He is the author of several books, monographs, articles and papers, dealing with a number of subjects related to Byzantine architecture. His studies include a history of Turkish architecture. Aristides Pasadaios is the restorer of the building complex of the Ecumenical Patriarchate.
