Plutarch

Plutarch served as Bishop of Byzantium for sixteen years (89 - 105) in sucession of Polycarp. When he died, he was buried in the church of Argyroupolis, as was the case with his predecessors.

During his hierarchy, the persecution by emperor Traianus took place in 98.
