Joannicios I

His patriarchy was short, because he was deposed by two synods: one in Jerusalem, and a second in Constantinople. After his deposition, Jeremias I received again the throne, and Joannicios fled to the monastery of the Forerunner in the area of Sozopolis, where he died.
