He was well-educated, but his opponents maliciously accused him to the High Gate, and he was deposed in humiliation from the throne.Later, during the patriarchy of Dionysios IV (1467-1472), he was found innocent at a council in Constantinople, and was given the presidency of the archbishopric of Ochrid. |
