Polycarp II

The successor of Felix was Polycarp II, who, according to the ancient sources, remained Bishop of Byzantium for 17 years. But Nikiforos Kallistos, who is considered more accurate by the specialists, mentions that Polycarp II was Bishop of Byzantium for three years.

The relic of this second Polycarp was kept together with the relics of this predecessor Bishops, each being kept in a coffin made out of marble.
