| Most Venerable Patriarchal Cathedral of St. George It is with great pleasure that we announce that on the occasion of the official reception of the Holy Relics of our Holy Fathers among the Saints Gregory the Theologian and John Chrysostom, brought from Rome to the Istanbul, the following services will be held in the Most Venerable Patriarchal Cathedral of St. George: a. On Saturday, the 27th of November, at approximately19:30, a Doxology Service, in thanksgiving to the Most Highest, on this such great occasion. His All Holiness will officiate, in the presence of the Papal Delegation from Rome and the Sacred Hierarchy of the Throne, while during the service the Holy Relics of the Hierarchs will be displayed in the church, for the veneration of the devout Christians. b. On Sunday, 28th November, a Hierarchal Divine Liturgy. His Eminence Metropolitan Chrysostom Gerondas of Ephesus will be celebrate the Divine Liturgy. c. On Monday, 29th of November, a Hierarchal Divine Liturgy. His Eminence Archbishop Demetrius of America will be celebrate the Divine Liturgy. |
